WHAT IS JUNIOR CODER
Junior Coder program trains children as young as 6 years old to code using a computer. Learning to code at an early age makes scientific and logical problem solving easier later in life. While learning to code, the children learn to think creatively and reason systematically. They learn to identify code as a language and how to apply algorithms to complete computational tasks.
In the process of coding, children learn to solve problems and design projects, and they develop sequencing skills that are foundational for later academic success. They also use math and language in a meaningful and motivating context, supporting the development of early-childhood numeracy and literacy.
